Reviews
Jay Rayner – Review “The Guardian”
Do I need to tell you that the Karczma is really good value? Of course not. Starters are four or five quid; few of the mains more than a tenner. Occasionally the weather forecast in Poland flashes up on the TV, a confetti of snowflakes rolling out across Silesia, and the food only makes more sense.
Matthew Norman – Review “Telegraph”
When the menu arrived it took the form of large, heavy, wooden pages, such that it resembled a medieval book of malevolent spells. The only thing required to complete the scene was a bed in the corner occupied by a wolf in a shawl.

About The Karczma

The Karczma is a traditional Polish restaurant, bar and grill located in the heart of Birmingham, just 5min walk from both the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and Moor Street Rail Station.
Restaurant is decorated in the style of an old Polish country cottage seating 85 people across 2 rooms.
The menu is designed to reflect a homely, hearty and rustic food that’s quintessentially Polish, and prepared using only the very best quality ingredients.
The menu contains numerous Polish classics including Pierogi (stuffed dumplings), Berszcz (Beetroot soup), Pickled Herring, Zurek (Pickled Rye Flour Soup) served from a hollowed out loaf of bread, as well as a whole host of grilled meats and fish.
